This quote embodies my belief that individual actions, no matter how small, can create ripple effects of positive change. As co-leader of the AIDS Walk San Francisco fundraising team with Glide Memorial Church's Pride Team, I've demonstrated my commitment to turning compassion into action. Managing a dynamic team of 29 members, I helped achieve a record-breaking $13,000 raised in 2024, my second AIDS Walk and first time co-leading. My approach to leadership combines strategic thinking with genuine care for team members, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute to our shared mission. This year, I'm co-leading again, continuing to build on our success. Join me in supporting AIDS Walk 2025 and be part of creating positive change in our community.
As a dedicated advocate within Glide's Pride Team leadership, I've spent years supporting LGBTQIA+ rights through both design and direct action. My involvement in social community work extends beyond the digital realm, I proudly march in Trans March and Pride celebrations, using my voice and platform to protect and uplift marginalized communities. This advocacy work deeply informs my design philosophy, ensuring that accessibility and inclusion aren't afterthoughts but fundamental principles woven into every project I touch.
